You’d think that, as an off-road enthusiast and the owner of an off-road recovery company, he would be a little more familiar with the Toyota Land Cruiser. 🤷♂️ I mean, usually even the staunchest jeep guys at least know what the series 80’s are just because they are in that same world and often seen out on the trails.

When i started off-roading, the first advice i was given was, "do NOT stop on a slope, and do NOT try to drive UP the slope if u feel u'll roll". Just go with the inertia and drive the thing down.

Not to make light of the situation and I'm glad everyone is okay but one of the things I always find humorous is the amount of stuff that falls out of a 4x4 rollover. My wife lost her original engagement ring. It didn't happen in my truck but I bet if i rolled it, her ring would fall out.

Idiot environmental freaks always cry that the offroaders destroy the environment. All, offroaders know to take two big trash bags with you on a trek. One, you fill automatically when you go out with junk that is, found. The other is to pick up your junk if you have an accident or if you just need to throw junk away. It is rare to ever see an envrionmental activist go out and just pick up junk from very rural outdoors.

I have rolled in a normal car going round a corner and for some reason even though wasn't going that slow it was like slow motion 😅 and I have spoken to a couple of people who have rolled and they all have said it's like slow motion 🙃 🙂

My guess is the soft suspension didn't control the rebound of the Land Cruiser, add the steep angel and it the the pivot point. Gravity did the rest.

Usally rollovers are "slow motion" enough that there is time to go into reverse or turn the wheel or do something to save it. It's when people do as she described "we are going to roll" and do nothing but hit the breaks, thats when it gets ya. Quick thinking can save your car in a scenario like that.
